Primarily Google Adsense provides you 2 types of accounts;

1.Hosted Adsense Account

2 Non-Hosted Account or Fully Approved Account 

1 Hosted Adsense Account:

* The Adsense account publisher which allows to advertise only on products hosted by Google i.e. YouTube and Blogspot Blog is called Hosted Adsense Account.

* YouTube and Blogspot are both Google products. Google does not charge you any money for uploading videos to YouTube or creating a blog on Blogspot, while both these products are hosted by Google. For this reason the Adsense account you approve on YouTube and Blogspot Blog is called Hosted Adsense account.

How to identify a Hosted Account?

It is very easy to identify which Hosted Adsense account is.

First you login to Adsense account and clicking on the logo of Gmail you will see on the top right corner, a box will open as it is in the screenshot. Hosted account will be written in red color here.

Revenue Share

The revenue share in Adsense Hosted Account is 55% and 45%.

That means Publisher gets 55% more

Google retains 45%.

* You can upgrade the Hosted account to make it a Non-Hosted account.

2.Non-Hosted Adsense Account

* When you create a blog or website by purchasing your own hosting and domain and get it approved by Google Adsense, that kind of account is called Non-Hosted Adsense or Fully Approved Account.

* That is, if you create a website by purchasing hosting and domain on sites like Godaddy Hostgator, Big Rock and monetize it with Adsense, that account is called Fully Approved Adsense Account.

How to identify a Non-Hosted account?

As you can see in the screenshot, nothing is written in the Dashboard of Non-hosted Adsense account like Hosted account.

That is, it is a Non-hosted Adsense account or Fully approved account.

The revenue share for Adsense Non-Hosted Account is 68% and 32%.

That means Publisher gets 68% more

Google retains 32%.

Previously you could use non-hosted account ads in multiple websites / blogs, but now you have to take approval to place ads in other websites.

* It is very difficult to approve your blog from Adsense and make it non-hosted account, for this you have to follow the guideline of Adsense.

* You can also use Non-Hosted Adsense Account for YouTube monetization. But according to your new guideline of YouTube, it is necessary to have 1000 Subscriber and 4000 hours of watch time on the channel.
